Cassidy Wade is a Health Educator in Health Promotion and Wellness. She earned a B.S. in Public Health from Purdue University and a Master of Public Health from the University of South Carolina. She has been a staff member at UChicago since September 2019. Cassidy was interested in participating in FLI Fridays as an ally because she was a first-generation, low-income college student as well, and understands how being apart of that community at a large university filled with privileged students can be ostracizing and discouraging. Cassidy wants everyone to know that no matter your history, or your family’s history, you deserve to be at this elite institution, and as an ally, she is here to help encourage you so that you can succeed and pursue greatness as well.
